A beautiful Sunday to run trains with friends in honor of my brother Chuck, probably the most selfless person I’ve ever met. He lost his very short battle with pancreatic cancer on May 20th and will be greatly missed by many. He loved Godzilla and loved my passion for this hobby.

Awesome to see. Thank you
: This is quite different watching this garden railroad running at night. I'm digging it. All Aboard, may the rails be with us. 🐢 🚂 🐢 😲 🐢 🚂
Night runs are the best, except in the Pacific Northwest during the summer when the sun doesn’t set until 2130 hours. That’s way too late for me to be up and outside 😂
I like this system. Do you know if RailPro makes a receiver that can control DCC sound decoders like the ESU or Zimo XL decoders? My plan is to use some UK sound fitted locomotives on a deal rail garden railway. Thanks for the video anyway buddy as I like these helpful tips.
@@BritishRail60062 your best bet is to call ring directly or visit their site. I don’t know anything about DCC or what it is. I do know you can upload your own sounds though. Www.ringengineering.com or (219) 322-0279 🙂
@@TheeFishGuy No problem buddy. Thanks for the links, I really appreciate the help. Peter.
i love that waffle sided gondola
Great Video!🎥👍👍👍👍👍👍❤❤🙋♂
Great stream. Unfortunately I'm catching up right now, but I appreciate it brother 😎👍 🤣 I Have one myself but every time I hear the same whale call I do exactly what you do and roll my breath at it 😁
I can’t believe I watched the Whole Thing. Feels like I should have earned a tee shirt. Oh well at least I finished a Blunami install.
@@ronselliers6951 I’m sorry
You’re not selling it well enough
I am thinking of getting this RailPro for my UK locomotives as I was wondering if there is an option to program the controller to bind two functions with one key? On most UK locomotives, they have two tone horns and most sound profiles are F2/F3 so I wanted to set it up for one key to do a horn sequence of a high tone F2 and the low tone F3 with just one function on the screen? I am new to this stuff and I would appreciate any advice on this if you can help me out. But if not, no worries. I liked the video anyway.
@@BritishRail60062 go to www.ringengineering.com/RailPro.htm , scroll down to “Railpro Sound Samples”. There might be something there that does what you want. The horn is just a sound file you choose, you cannot have two sound files on the same button. I suppose you could choose two horn sounds and position the buttons right next to each other. Hit one then hit the other??
Just curious if ur friend would be willing to to make 5 sets of those spacers
@@trainexpo1971 he doesn’t dabble in it anymore..
I have so enjoyed watching this layout develop, and knowing you had the encouragement of your brother makes this even greater. A big thanks for sharing
That rc excavator is Awsome! Nice touch
Hi Jonathan, you have fantastic trains running on your garden railway layout. Thanks for showing and have a nice weekend.
II love the Godzilla car. What cool tribute to him.
Sorry for your loss.
@@douggarrett8353 thanks, I’m sorry for the people who never got a chance to meet him
But it will never be finished! Always improvement, changes and more additions to come.
@@ronselliers6951 oh I know, but the mainlines are 100% and I’m happy now
Great idea, and a fantastic train. cheers for good🍺🍺
great job..well done!
Thank you!
gotta do a phase 3 so you can smoke more cigars and drink more beer.......lol.......just watched phase 1.......what a transformation.......good job man......if i was your neighbor id join yeah
Phase three is done, it’s the fort.
When you have your Open House to commemorate the completion of your railway please make a video.
Of course!
Very nice!
Looks good, operates well. Congratulations.
Thank you!
Time to relax a bit before you start phase 3 😉
Phase three is finished ish, it’s the fort!
@@TheeFishGuy I can picture a water feature for your next phase. You are the “fish guy” of course, gotta stay true to self 😎
@@fearlessmtb water features are a PITA. I had one of phase one and took it out.
Dude I’d love to come over and run some trains with ya. I’m in northern Illinois.

🤣🤣 Then you’ll be happy to know it’s an LGB hopper!
@@TheeFishGuy no that's why I'm crying
Make it so!
yup.....same way i made bridges 20 years ago......time sure flies.......i always get splashed in the face when pouring something that shouldnt get in contact with your eyes.....i hate when that happens.......lol
Great work! Excellent video. I envy the tree.
Thank you
Lookin' great! looks like it might be time for you to build a colliery!
Maybe…. Doubtful though.
Like seeing your next video. Thirty Peabodys was fun to watch. Thank you. Like the tower on the bridge.
Love all those hoppers and those high nose GP7 and GP9s. My GP9 is a Pennsy. Beautiful. Wish you were nearby.
Thanks the 3 NS gp set nice catch seeing one is a gp7 the middle one a gp9 B unit no cab and the other one a gp9 and I have a 4 one I am working on making it a gp7 B unit so that way they will be different
Bridges look really nice......love that stuff......thanks for the vid
love those high hoods
I was worried about uou welding there under the bridges that you soaked in oil. A guy i once worked with told me qhen he was tecahing me the basics to weld, "it doesnt matter what it looks like, as long as it holds and you know how to use a grinder!"
I gave the soaked cedar about the ten second thought to honest. But I was committed at that point. Only one section caught on fire and it was the last weld I did from underneath. The cup of water took care of that lol
wow looks like a full time job!
another great segment!
😮 talents on loan from God. Looking forward to the next run.
Haha! Thanks!
looks good.....im a welder and who cares what it looks like, it wont be showing and as long as it can hold the weight, plus that wasnt a very comfortable position to be welding in
Thanks very much! I. Just literally a back yard welder lol. Welding from underneath I’m surprised I only walked away with one small burn that I can’t even feel anymore!
im just amazed how agile you are getting up and down from off the mat......lol.....im 64 and cant get up as fast or as easy as you......plus i had to start to do exercises just to get where i am.....i lost it about 3 years ago but its coming back
Trust me, at 49 and being in construction my whole life I was hurtin. Thank god for the hot tub, soaked for an hour last night! lol
Awesome job. The ideas I need to get mine going. thank you.
Its been cool following you building and finishing this phase of the layout. I feel as though it would be beneficial to add those extra supports by those switches, not sure why, but just think, ya know, reasons.
lol! I agree! Because reasons
OOOOO u soooo need a cyclone and estate rake
I would span the curves like that I think the real RR did that... What's gonna happen if the frost hev the T bars up....
If the frost can lift 5/8” rebar that’s in the ground 36” then I’ll just get rid of the bridges. I don’t see that happening in my lifetime.
Oh yeah, almost forgot, I think you can leave the bridges independent or without any connectors (in answer to your question at 9:30),but connectors may be beneficial in keeping any suicidal trains from jumping over on 1 side of the track
See, that’s what I was thinking. Nose dive protection lol
